Depends on the confusion....

Usually taking notes helps- the more times information is processed by the brain, the more places it's stored... in the vision center (you saw the info), in the hearing center (you heard it), in the fine-motor-control center (you wrote it), in the vision center (you read what you wrote), in the speach center (you spoke it- under your breath, maybe, but still-), and in the hearing center again (you heard yourself)...

Asking questions also helps- you can restate the info, make sure you understand the ideas...

Do your homework- This helps cement the procedure in your mind, through practice. Make sure you understand the idea first, though!!

Best of luck, and dress like an exec for the test- "Clothes Make The Man!!"... You'll get a better grade.
