I know people who major in liberal arts majors like sociology, psychology, fine arts, and linguistics. As we know, for such majors, you don't get guaranteed job upon graduation because job market is not really big.
Majors like engineering, medicine, science are sure to give u a job upon graduation compared to liberal arts majors. I understand people's wanting to major in something they love but I wonder if they consider other aspects as well when they choose a major.
Do people consider job prospects/reputation/salary when they choose their major or do they just follow their heart?

on bingo boards each column has numbers that come from a range of values. For example the first column could be 0-19 the second 20-39 etc (20 possibilities per column)
If 5 numbers are chosen at random to fill the first column only how many ways can the first column be filled?

Would like to find free or very low cost online courses on a variety of subjects like economics, electricity, various computer applications, history, etc. Whatever piques my curiousity at the time.

Ideally, the courses would be audio/video and have some interactivity like a short quiz after each section.

Also would be interested in courses offered on DVD or CD, but again, free or cheap.

Do the professors hand out a syllabus telling you what textbooks you will need for the semester?
If not, how do we know which textbooks to buy? Do they list them on the internet and we have to look it up ourselves?

i have to choose either ap chem or college alg/trig. so the thing is, i'm not very "good" at chem. i made a's and b's when i took pre ap chem and i basically struggled my way through the class and i probably won't end up taking the ap chem test or if i do i wont be able to make a 3+ on it. the only reason, i'm considering the ap chem class is because i was told colleges like students to take advance courses like ap classes and im in 2 right now. as far as my major in college, it'll be in liberal arts/science.
