It depends on what kind of doctor you want to be. I believe that US News and World Report ranks Harvard as the best - but that is really relative. Pretty much any of the top 50 schools are going to give you an incredible education. And, everyone has to past the USMLE Step tests in order to practice medicine.

If you mean Medical School (midicine? Huh?), you have to look at Harvard, Yale, Cornell, University of Washington (Seattle), Johns Hopkins and UC San Francisco. They all have great faculties and programs along with top notch Teaching Hospital affiliations.
