filled out the information wrong my the internet and the school took my pell grant back during my fall semester and when i get my tuition for my spring year, a still have at least half of my fall semester, but noone notifyted me, it come to find out it was a pellgrant rebate, but my parents arent married how do how correct that so i can get my pell grant back for my fall and sring semester.....

Im looking to get a private student loan i am an undergraduate this is my first year ever going to college I am afraid im not going to have enough extra money for books,laptop, gas and food.. I will be a full time student at a county college. I qualify for a certain amount and i feel it will not be enough please someone let me know of a loan other then a federal staffor or parent plus loan that requires no credit check school starts soon!

Last year when I studied, my college paid 100% of my childcare costs as i am on benefits, I was meant to start again in sept 06 but suffered a bereavement a few days before the course commenced and obviously couldnt start at that time. I was told by the college to re-enrol for next week which I have done, however I have been told today that they wont pay for my childcare because their access fund was used up by october. Is there any way I can get help, from child tax credits or something?

I havn't actually paid any money out of my pocket towards interest. However, I did take out a new loan which paid off my old one. They are from different companies, but they are both still direct loans. I technically paid the intrest off by borrowing a new loan. Can I take the student loan interest deduction for this year?

II was denied financial aid because my income for the year of 2005 was too much; I was told that I have to be below at least 13,000.00 per year to qualify. I currently gross about 19,000.00 a year so if I apply again I would still be denied. I do not want to have to pay back any loans, and I don’t qualify for scholarships because I am told old (27 yrs), to receive any type of scholarship you have to be a high school graduate. Are there any other alternatives besides loans, I really cannot afford to pay back any loans right now.

Im a current 3/4 time student with a community college and I want to take a 8 week course to get a license from the State of Florida. My question is what will I need to do to recive money from my GI bill to pay for this course. The course is at a diffent school and it is ceritfied with the VA so that isnt a problem. I am a single mother, I have been recieving daycare assistance from the state of michigan while I work part time, but recently found out that after 3 years I am approved for social security due to a mental illness I have, my social worker has told me that childcare assitance is only available for working, and not school? I am no longer working but starting school next week, and will be attending one day a week for now, I am wondering if I qualify for any kind of childcare assistance while just attending school? if not I'll have to pay $35 a week, for just the one day, and even more when I decide to take more classes...

I have about $180,000 in student loans and are feeling overwhelmed. I will not be able to pay these off until 40 years of paying over 200 a month. i am feeling like this is impossible and have looked into many things and ways to pay them off.

My main concern is that i will be spending all my time and effort trying to pay off loans rather than being able to have a real life... I am 28 already and in the medical field so my life will pretty much already be all work.... anyone know how i can get grants or funds to help pay this off a bit?

I was told that my child could not recieve a check from her deceased father. He was on SSI. She is nine years old. Is there any program that i can apply for to help me provide for my child. I am a unemployed full-time student. I have been making due on my financial aid money but I will not receive it until Jan 27th. I am broke and bills are due. Is there any way I could get a loan or an advance on my financial aid? Its not offered by my school. Oh yeah and I have no one to borrow it from. Please help.
