I had to retrain due to corporate downsizing and I have a lot of school loans. I don't think I can repay them all before I retire. The UK forgives loans after the age of 65, but I do not know what provisions are available for non-traditional older students here in the states. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I am disabled (multiple sclerosis) and make very little money. My husband is a social worker and makes crap money, too. We have a brilliant little son and would love to see him attend a good university, but it just seems so out of reach! Do they have special scholarships for the children of disabled parents?

I'm 20 and don't have financial backing from my parents for anything, educational or otherwise. There also is not a family member who will cosign on loans for me. Are there any places that give out loans without a cosigner just with higher interest or something?

I'm looking for scholarships for minorities/African-Americans and/or males. Or for undergraduates majoring in criminal justice. Individual scholarships that anyone knows of or websites would be greatly appreciated.
