Well I'm going on a couple of school trips, and we have to raise the funds for one of the trips, it costs about £1000 and I really need good ways to fund-raise as the trip is in february, i have already done bag-packing in a supermarket. Any good ideas?

you could have a collective rummage sale, where things are donated and you sell by the bagful, this will save you in having to mark all the items. Also at the rummage have hot dogs, lunch meat sandwiches and chips, drinks, and baked goodies. You could also see if any local organizations would donate items, (free diner tickets, theater tickets, tanning passes etc) and hold a silent bit on them or a raffle drawing and sell tickets for them. Great luck to you as you raise the money by Feb.
Blessings!

Car Washes, Bake Sales, 50/50 draws, try a local business like Krispie cream donuts or a chocolate factory they sometimes have fundraising kits like you buy so many boxes of chocolate and you can sell then to people and make some money off the proceeds for you school.

The Internet has become an invaluable resource for those operating fundraising campaigns by allowing them to buy fundraising materials, share project ideas and advertise fundraisers to a wider audience. Although fundraisers generally operate in small communities or parishes, a rather large community of fundraising enthusiasts sharing tips, ideas and products has formed online.

Using the Internet to promote your fundraiser is a popular avenue that many fundraising coordinators are taking to promote their efforts. Service websites have been setup to help fundraisers create simple fundraising web pages that they can use to advertise their upcoming promotions and events. Fundraising coordinators may also opt to allow for sales online, helping boost the available pool of friends

Do you know anyone who can resist a Krispy Kreme donut? They have fundraising packages that can be very lucrative. They package the basic KK donut in boxes of six, I think. I don't know what the margin of profit is but I know they're really popular around here. My daughter sold them when she was in high school and all she had to do was bring them to school....they were gone before lunch! YUMMM.....awww, see, ya almost made me forget my New Year's resolution already!

Best Wishes to all!
