The latest tax info I have for my parents is for 2004, but the FAFSA is asking for info for 2006. What can I do, my parents will file eventually, but not for awhile. They havn't even started on their 2005 forms yet.

I'm not sure how they can not have filed for 2005 unless they have filed for several extensions. Your parents will need to get there tax stuff prepared so that you can get that information. You can use figures from 2004 to estimate but FAFSA expects current information. Sorry.

all you need is the information that they will fill in on their forms, when they do file. When i was in college i would use my parents last pay statement to fill out my fafsa before they filed taxes.

Call your financial aid office and ask them what to do.
