No.
That would be "racist".
???
Just like having a "Miss White America" would be um, "racist".

Hmmmmm. Interesting questions with even more interesting answers. Everyone at least agrees on one thing, there are a lot of students (from every ethnic background) that "need" assistance with college funding. Perhaps wealth should be the measuring criteria with a secondary selection specifying area of study. But I guess that wouldn't be fair to wealthy people or those not focusing on that specific endeavor. Doesn't seem fair somehow.......guess what, Life isn't fair and that's nothing new. If you're the one running the fund and can find those willing to donate you should be able to have any fund you choose. That is called Freedom. Racism only exists when you take away freedom(s).

I don't know whether or not there's a United Caucasion College Fund, but to all the grumpy posters who responded with anger that there is a United ***** College Fund: THIS IS MADNESS. Do any of you realize the the UNCF is sponsored with private funds? Why do you care what private citizens do with their money? UNCF is not a government agency. Don't you see the telethon they have every year where they get people to perform and ask viewers to call in and donate? If you don't agree with the UNCF then don't donate.
Take me for example, I'm black but I've never donated to UNCF because I didn't attend a historically black college so I wasn't eligible for UNCF funds since I went to a state school. Therefore, since I never received money from them I don't give money to them, I give to my alma mater instead. But I don't get angry that other people want to donate. People have donated money to a lot less worthy causes. There are scholarships for Jewish people, Irish people, Italian people, Arab people, Catholic people, Latinos, people with physical disabilites and even Left-handed people. A lot of these scholarships are funded with private money and endowments.
THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT DOES NOT GIVE OUT RACE BASED SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS. So there, I hope you feel better now. If there's not a United Caucasion College Fund then start one. No one can stop you, as long as you use your own money and that of your supporters. Hey, maybe I'll even mail you a buck or two. LOL.

Every scholarship is one. If you go to a HBCU you will be considered a minority and you can apply for any minority scholarship. The United ***** College Fund was created by us for us to help us. At the time, people of non-color assisted each other. Same difference. So if you are willing to go to a HBCU, have way. If not, start the Fund. I am sure you will get a lot of support. I will support you because I believe in education and I am Black.

surely--somebody could! I hate how all of us thinks that white all of us is wealthy, it truly is thoroughly untrue! i'm white-i'm not wealthy, and it truly is not because of the fact my family individuals would not artwork or something. I come from an prolonged line of nurses, protection stress, educators--not precisely a thank you to get wealthy, yet they're stable human beings. i'm a waitress and a student in nursing college and a few greater $$$ might beneficial help. There are wealthy human beings of each and every way of existence...once I went to Las Vegas, the richest human beings there have been the Asians, Spanish and Arabs (who spoke French via the way). they had the front row seats on the coach, and the "french talking arabs" guess $1000 on each and every guess they performed on the Roulette table! they did not play in the highroller section for some reason, yet they in all probability blew $a hundred,000 in merely the cases i replaced into around them! as a substitute of the UNCF or Hispanic scholarship courses, it would possibly be per financial desire on my own. this is the only easy thank you to distribute money, and not play into stereotypes. It in easy terms breeds hate, and perpetuates anger and in easy terms serves to remind us of our ameliorations, relatively than our similairities.

Dear grumpy dufus,
The reason that we have college funds (such as African american, hispanic, women's, Indian American, homosexual American, etc...) is because these groups are and have been marginalized in our country for the pas few centuries. That's why they believe that they have a right to have college funds that are only specific to them.
Most white folks on the other hand (don't know if you are one of them) are assumend to be financially stable enough to provide more money for college preperation for their kids(better high schools, better tutors, better everything in general).
Now is it fair to a white male? Personally, I don't think so. as it is not fair to a very poor African american (because he gets judged by the same standard as a middle class african American).
Personally, I think it should be all need-based (not race-based) and merit-based.

No. As long as Caucasians dominate the country and the world economically, there won't be one. By the way, I'm African-American, but I couldn't go out for any of those scholarships because I'm not attending an HBCU. I still got scholarships and grants, regardless of my race. You should suck it up.
And to EvilAngel who thought it was cute to make such a racist statement, grow up. What you call "White History" is celebrated 365. That's slang for all year round, if you didn't know (and that's how it feels to be put down). It's cool to be opinionated, but it's not cool to bring it on Yahoo! Answers where other may be influenced.
At the risk of sounding redundant, GROW UP.

a republican group at a college in boston (i believe) has made a white mans college grant, just to twist the screw. It's only a few hundred dollars and just to prove a point but last i heard no one had applied for it so it's still up for grabs.

No, neither is there a Miss White America (because that would be racist).
How come there can be a Miss Black America then?
I really don't understand why it's ok to seperate blacks from whites, but not whites from blacks?
Racism is alive and well, just not in the same form as it used to be.

If there is one they are keeping it really low profile.I don't think there is one though. There should be a general go to college fund regardless of what color or race as long as you are a LEGAL U.S citizen, with serious school intent

Not that I know of.
I don't think there should be ANY college funds that are bigoted. Educational opportunities shouldn't be made exclusive in any way, and should not be allowed to target any race, ethnicity, gender, religion, etc. Let "equality" actually mean "being equal".
