If you have been admitted into the college as a full-time student and have completed the FAFSA, you will be issued a Financial Aid award letter from the college(s) that admitted you. This will include any Pell Grants you are awarded. You will receive this letter before you committ to enroll, so just call up your school's Aid office and find out when you should be getting a letter.

To be considered for a pell grant you have to fill out the FAFSA. You can also look at Fastweb.com. It has a search engine for scholarships, as well as colleges/universities.

You can usually go to the school you want to go to and ask them how to apply for Pell Grants (that is how I applied for my pell grant). You have to prove sveral things like income and if you live with your parents or not. Pell Grants are Government loans for scholl that usually you do not have to pay back, if you live on your own they are easier to get.
