many schools send out information and course catalogs to prospective students. washu in particular sends out a ton of mail. they are trying to get as many people to apply as possible because it makes them look better in rankings. many schools use the same tactics. your chances of being accepted are based on grades, standardized test scores, essay, and extracurriculars. good luck!

Not necessarily. Just becasue a school sends you a course catalog, it doesn't mean that you have met the admissions criteria.

Schools send out course catalogs all the time, usually along with a class schedule. They send them in hopes that the receiver will look through the catalog and decide to spend their money at that university.

Look through the catalog and see if you meet the admissions criteria. If you do, then you have a chance to get in.
