Which Renaissance philosopher do you think developed the greatest contribution to humanity? Explain your answer.

How did the greatest contribution of the Renaissance philosopher you identified affect 18th and 19th-century philosophy?

Okay. This is for AP US History... So this is supposed to be a college level essay. I have all the info I need, except for one or two more points about the GEOGRAPHIC factors.
Here is the whole Question:
How did economic, geographic, and social factors encourage the growth of slavery as an important part of the economy of the southern colonies between 1607 and 1775?

I have more than enough stuff for economic, and a passable amount for social, but I NEED more geographic points.
So far all I have is that not all of the staple food crops were compatable with the southern soil and slaves knew how to grow rice. They didn't contract diseases from the insects in the rice fields, either.

Is what I have so far correct for the geographic part? I need just one or two more points for this! Then I can write my amazing essay for a good grade. = )

ok here it goes it all started with my son having problems with his science teacher she kept him after school and my son still failed and my son never had trouble with science.he says he felt bullied from the teacher i went to talk to the principal and they brought the teacher and she brought up his grades which was far off the subject the teacher kinda cooled off after a while but then again she started again and this time my son started acting sick and not wanting to go to school and then i went to talk to the counselor and i got no where so i went to talk to the superintendent so they switched his classes now he doesnt have that teacher but yesterday my son was talking to two of his techers reagarding her glasses she cant see from far away and his old science teacher passed by and kinda said something and laughed at my son and my son says that his old teacher must of thought he was in some sort of trouble but he wasnt .is that already harrasment ? what should i do? serious answers

I have to do a debate on abortion for my final in my public speaking course. It has to be 10 minutes long. I am for abortion, he is against. Can someone give me some really useful and valid websites that have some pro-choice information. I have to have 10 valid sources. This woman is on something. All information I appreciate. I was thinking of using some real-life scenarios like explaining how an unwanted child(maybe put in an orphanage) is affected and how he carries it through his childhood, not being able to connect. Or maybe being raised by a mother that really didn't want him in the first place but had to raise him and how it affects the child as well as the mental affects on the woman. That it is more like taking two steps forward and one step back. Yes, the human race is surviving(very much surviving) but at what costs socially? Is this making the world a better place? Ideas, ideas, ideas and sources are welcome. Thank you. Whatever opinion you hold is helpful.

I am currently 24 and have not really taken my education as seriously as I should have. I am now VERY focused and I would like go back to get my degree in English/Film. I am still working on my AA (so you can see how much time I've wasted), and I only have about 13/60 units thus far. I am currently unemployed and am looking for a job. I applied for financial aid last year, but they denied me, because I made too much when I was working in 2006. They consider 18,000 too much I guess. I currently have my own apartment and have alot on my plate, needless to say. I have no kids, and I'm just trying to get my life together. I REALLY want and need to o back to school, not only to get a degree, but to learn more and just educate myself well.
I know I may not be able to get a loan, without a job, I'm not sure if financial aid will approve me, I made a little over 5,000 this year and that's barely enough to eat. I would've had a job by now, but my petty theft record is making it hard for me.

I'm getting the answer 20-7/28. Not sure if I got to this answer right. I am converting 7-7/8 and 2-4/7 into improper fractions - I get 63/8 and 18/7, respectively. Then I solved 63/8 x 18/7 which came to 567/28 = 20-7/28. What am I doing wrong here???

A little background; I have a BA Social Services degree but am currently working in the business world as an accounts receivable manager. I am attending Webster University (out of Missouri) and am currently in their MS Finance program. However, I am not 100% sure I want to only have a Finance degree and am considering switching to their MBA program since I am only in my third class. I do not have a clear direction as far as a career goes at this point. I enjoy numbers and business (not sales at all) but want the degree that will open the most doors in the long run. I want to make a nice salary and don't want to back myself into a limited corner with finance. How do these two degrees compare and what type of jobs are available with an MBA, even though I do not have an undergrad business degree. How do the salaries compare for each degree. I appreciate any and all advice.
