First you find 17th and 18th century philosophers and read up on their philosophies. Then you think about which one of the philosophies influenced rainessance and may even still influence todays thinking and you will have your paper.

I know you'll hate to hear this, but you need to write an outline.

First, look at the renaissance philosophers. Then choose one and explain what he did or said or wrote, and how it influenced the 18th & 19th century.

I. Joe Blow is influential because
A. One thing he said
B. Another thing
C. Another thing

II. This is important because
A. Why
B. Another Why

I don't know anything about the subject myself, but here are some websites that I can understand when I read them.
