1.) Subtract. Write the answer in simplest form.
2/3 - 8/15

Can you explain how to do these?
Or give me a link to a site that'd explain it?
I can't believe I forgot...-_-

I know the Algonquins are a tribe of Native Americans. The only reference to Round Table I know of is from the Arthurian legends. I've heard this term in literary and political circles. A little help here? :)

I know the norm used to be four years but it has gone up has it not?

Do a lot of people still graduate in 4 years? Or is it up around 5-6? Does it really depend on what your major is?

I've tried getting in contact with my instructor on this question, and I've had no luck. I don't need the problem to be done for me, I just need to be pointed in the right direction. That being said, here's the question: A couple would like to place a 20% down payment on a home. If they invest their money at 3.76% for 8.75 years compunded monthly (A) how much money will they have for a down payment if their dream home costs $325,000, (B) How much will their house payment be?

Like I said, I don't need that answers, just the way to figure this out.

Thanks.

I'm doing an article for an educational website to give prospective educational psychology master's candidates an idea of why they need a master's to do what they'd like to do in this field. Any answers would be most appreciated.

I read an article in TIME or something (my friend showed it to me), about how the School System is failing now, and I must agree.

Thanks to the NCLB (No Child Left Behind) program, we are spending millions to push ahead kids that NEED MORE TIME to learn! I understand wanting people to graduate instead of fall back, but they really need to be in special classes pertaining to their NEEDS, not the School's wants.

And because of this program, Honors and Advanced Placement programs are falling fast. In the article, a girl was tested at age 7 with an IQ well over 145. In first grade, when other people were learning how to read, she was learning ALGEBRA II. She should have been in college by age 12, but they would not allow her to skip more than two grade levels.

I find this ridiculous. People with special needs, whether it is a lack in ability to learn at an "average" pace, or an IQ that falls off the charts, need to be helped! This NCLB is only making our school system decline furt

how many people are too lazy or what to do their homework, this is like copy other people, lucky me I never had to ask nobody when I've been to school. It is a lot more fun if u can figure something out yourself, gives u that self satisfaction

I am a freshman in college in need of help on deciding on a major. I want to go for the medical field/dentistry. I am not so great with math, moreso in english/writing. Would that be a great disadvantage for me if I am leaning towards pre-med? Also, I heard that it's best to major in biology to have a better understanding for the medical field but am still debating because I also heard that it's extremely hard. I want to understand why it seems so hard to so many and what's the best major to select. I want to avoid taking unnecessary classes that will just waste my time.

I'm giving my mother a lesson on the basic rules of grammar so that she doesn't have to call me at all hours of the day asking me to proofread her letters and emails via telephone.

We are working on commas right now. Here is an example I gave her:

"I hope that my daughter doesn't think that I'm illiterate, simply because I cannot form a grammatically correct sentence."

I got a little confused myself with that one! Does it need the comma, or does it not? I know that if the "simply" wasn't in there it wouldn't, but does the "simply" change anything?

What is the general rule for this? I'm in college, so I write paper after paper without ever thinking twice about my grammar, and I never have any corrections about my grammar. However, now that I'm really thinking about this, I realize that I don't even know the rule on this!

Thank you very much! I'll pick a best answer TODAY!

I can't check my own paper because I think that jsut because I wrote it it's corect; which is never the case. Any feed back or comments, things I should change would be great. Thanks for your help!

In the past twenty-three years, I have written forty-seven novels, won numerous awards and have been handed fame beyond belief for a writer; yet I am not happy. My life has no significance. I have written forty-seven novels that mean absolutely nothing to me. How do I write of horrors I have not feared? How do I write of a love that is not my own? Today is the day that I will bring significance into my life; today is the day that I become a writer.

This novel, as all my others, is dedicated to Kateline. You were my first and my last love. With out you this story, out story would be impossible.
