I'm doing debating in school, and my team is the affirmative for 'Is television better than books?' I think books are better than TV, but my teacher knows me and my friends are nerds, so she gave us this topic. So we have to do this. Sigh. Any help please?

Geeze!! Oh how i would love to be home schooled!
The extra time you can spend socializing with family and friends and everything!

You see, I produced this idea to my parents and they thought i was mad! They said I would miss out on the social aspect of being in school, I would be lonely. my brother said it would hinder me psychologically, either socially, intellectually, mentally??? please help,
The reason why i wish to be home schooled is the main reason that my parents travel a lot and every time I tag along, I end up skipping school and I feel guilty. However, my parents disapprove of this and say I'm mad. They also say im getting bullied which Is certainly not true!

I need something persuasive PLEASE, please help!?
Any suggestions

Gun Control; The Answer to School killings
In the past 20 years there have been several school massacres in which most involve gun usage. It is evident that the United States School system has serious issues with its student gun usage and fire arms accessibility. In order to reduce gun related school killings the U.S. Government must enforce and stricken gun control laws. Also, the U.S government must create more federal programs to promote anti-gun purchases in order to remove fire arms and prevent black market sales. Furthermore the federal law “Assault Weapons Ban” must be re enacted to prevent the possibility for extremely dangerous fire arms to enter school premises or to be sold to civilians.

I have problems with maths, I am actually ok at maths, but I have problems registering symbols and numbers in exams sometimes. I also have a very low level of concentration in lessons, some of my teachers at school have noticed this. One said I could be dyslexic and take a test. Is this nessesary? My english writing and use of grammar is fine though. Is it possible to only be dyslexic with maths and numbers? please help :)

Hello all,
I am French and I’m writing my CV in English. The differences between the continental Europe and the UK/USA make it a bit complicated to find the exact terms. I would thus like to obtain more details concerning the terms graduate, post-graduate and undergraduate student in the Anglophone world…
When you successfully finish your high school education, you say you are a “high school graduate”, right?
But then you go to college and you’re an under-graduate student??? I’ve actually finished my Bachelors Degree. I am currently a MBA student, and I’m applying to an internship. Should I say I’m a “MBA graduate or post-graduate student” ?
Well, I don’t know if I’ve made it clear, anyway anything you may say on this subject will be much appreciated (don’t worry if you write a long answer!!).
Thanks a lot in advance.
