It is easily adaptable to meet varying needs
Con:
It can be dangerous
It is not greatly efficient for creating heat
Some may argue that its generation causes greenhouse gas emissions.

PROS - its environmentaly friendly , its clean, it can be generated through various methods , from hydro,solar,wind etc
CONS - it can be dangerous, it can be expensive and it makes people 'lazy' and more 'indoor orientated'.
PRE-Electricity days, ah yes yes yes. Those were the days chaps. I remember how i use to carve out wooden skittles and roll rounded stones down alley ways for fun...

Pros: It allows for better life by enabling us to control our environment more and allows us to use technology for improved productivity.
Cons: It can kill you if you abuse it.
