We live in Quebec, Canada. My friend has this idea that she is definetly going to Harvard, we go to a public school, she is middle class, lives in an old fixer-up house. She Does NOT participate in any extra curricular activities, shes not even on the debate team. Her average is around 91%, she took the SAT practise exam and thought it was "alright" as in not that easy, her views of the world are unrealistic, as well as not up to date with current events, her personality sucks and to finish off she went to the metropolitan museum of art and her response to the abstract art was "oooo its like colors". Now just so I am not crazy does she have any shot in heck at making it into Harvard? LOL

also in Quebec we dont even have grade 12... we only go up to grade 11

As a high school student, I am strongly opposed to the teaching of evolution in school. Not only do I think that they are teaching us lies and using false "evidence" to get us to worship "science" like they do, but things like origins of people and the earth are up to parents to teach their kids. I believe in God and the word of the Bible, so why should the school system feel free to trample on my beliefs and teach me otherwise? They say creation can't be taught in school (on that note, I think neither should be taught in public schools, but if they teach evolution they should have something about creation in there too), but in teaching evolution, they are imposing their beliefs on us, and while it may not be religion that they're teaching us, to them, evolution is their belief, and we shouldn't be forced to be taught science's beliefs. (I refuse to call evolution science and refer to its support as evidence.) Anyways, if you got this far, how do you feel?

I'm a full-time college student recieving, PELL, TAP, & Stafford loans but I still fall short. My parents can't afford to take out a parent loan for me, nor can they pay any of my college costs. So I have a signature student loan from Sallie Mae, but after the school takes their cut, I'm still falling short and with a field studies trip next semester I'm worried about money for the next semester.

Can someone recommend me another alternative for more cash so I can pay any possible unforeseen costs (my car is about to go). I was looking into private student loan alternatives, but the interest rates seem OUTRAGEOUS.

What are my options, I am looking to borrow ~$3000.

I start almost every sentence in this paragraph with "I" and don't know what else to use! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Here's the paragraph:

"Before I knew it, I was in front of the building, my destination. I’d made it without any problems. I held my breath as I looked at my watch; the luck was in my favor: I’d made it in time. I hurried in and chanced a quick glance behind me, to make sure I wasn’t being followed. I didn’t see anyone, but I looked for cover just in case. I spied a small nook to my left and stealthily advanced toward it."

A friend has asked me to read over a letter she is writing to a judge, and this sentence has me scratching my head:

"The children were in the presence of John Doe only while also accompanied by one of the babysitters; Sarah Doe, Alysa Public, Jane Smith; or myself."

Is there a better way to word or punctuate this sentence? As I said, this is a letter to a judge, so if you are not certain, please abstain from answering this question.
