I want to send my daughter to a private school she's 14yrs old and needs to get away from our area to focus on school she is already saying that she wants to quit she only just begun high school and she was a good student til now she just seems like she is giving up and nothing I say or do is helping any. She's not a trouble maker or gets in trouble she is just giving up. I don't make alot of money and we live with my parents just need to find help to send her to a good school where she can get the best education. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm a highchool junior, and I'd like to tutor math for any level up to Algebra II. I have someone who's interested, but I'm not sure how much to charge. I realize that it'd depend on how dificult the level is, like if it was just 2nd grade math, I wouldn't charge as much as for highschool geometry.

Why are there so many people who use incorrect grammar and do not know how to spell?
It's very rare that I see people use even these (simple) words properly:
to, too
your, you're
they're, their, there

and it seems no one ever spells definitely right- it's always definately

Those are just a few of the many things that I always notice. It seems no one cares if they appear uneducated, or maybe it's just because of that reason? Even so, with the internet now (if you are on Y!A, you obviously have access to it) and things like spellcheck, you can look up anything you need to. If you weren't fortunate enough as some to receive a good education, you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge that way.

Not that everyone should be able to write perfectly all the time, but I am referring to the horrendous spelling and grammar I witness way too often.

Do these people not even realize their errors, or do they just not care?

I'm 25 F. Cauc. I work two jobs. My family does not have the money to help me. I'm really wanting to go back to school but I really dont want to have to get loans (i know its inevititable though). What LEGIT grants and whatnot can i get? Dear diary today the most horrifying incident occurred my daughter had committed suicide , I found out she also married Romeo and he also died this all happened because of my foolish act if I only listened when she told me she didn’t want to marry Paris I should have knew something had to be wrong or else why would she give up such an honor that young ladies dream of marrying especially to someone like Paris if I only didn’t yell at her she might have told me and this horrifying day would have not occurred what father can live with a burden that his actions caused his own daughter and son in law to die I’m a fool . If only she told me but still I know what grief and depression she must have had I can only imagine why she didn’t tell if only I didn’t let my rage get the best of me my only regret is telling her how much I love her for her I will give up the feud between the Montague’s my new relatives and together we will built a gold statue of my daughter and My son in law Romeo.

I want to apply as a transfer (from a 2 year school to a 4 year school). I will graduate with nearly a 4.0 average, and didnt think I'd have a problem getting into schools, but most around me require 20+ hours of community service per month. I have 4 kids, I do not have 20 hours a month! How picky do you think they will really be on this requirement? I currently do a couple of hours a month.
