that all children need a male role model because women couldn't possibly raise them right on their own? He also stated that lesbians couldn't raise a child right and would only confuse them. Lastly, he stated that all little boys aspire to marry a woman who is their maid, mother and prostitute all wrapped up into one.
What do you think of this horse's behind?

Well, I would think he would have certainly worded it differently than that (maybe he did?)

I think the biggest problem we face in America is absenteeism by the father. This is a problem that has devestated the African-American community (75% of black kids are raised w/out a dad) and the numbers aren't great in other communities either.

I personally feel the absolute best situation for children to be raised in, is one with two married (to each other) loving parents, with the mom staying home until the kid reaches kindergarten (part time work after that is ok). Kids raised in this kind of environment do better in school, are much less likely to drink and do drugs, get into fights, etc.

But as we know, most parents are dysfunctional to some degree. And some are so bad that it is OBVIOUS that two loving lesbians could raise a child better than a violent, drug addicted, "straight" home.

Also, I think it is much better for children to grow up with gay parents than be raised in and out of foster homes, etc.

About the "little boys wanting to marry a woman who is their maid, mother, and ho all wrapped into one"... hhmm I'm not a psychologist but let's see... Do I want my wife to be like my mother? NO. Do I want her to clean around the house? Yes (I clean too, and am not a slob by any means), and do I want her to be a prostitute? Yes, but only with me and in the privacy of our bedroom. >:-)

Were he a good teacher, he would say that those are his views, and would welcome other opinions in order to have a discussion. Obviously, he is just ignorant and wants to convince other people to be ignorant as well. I guess his admonition for boys to grow up and marry the type he indicated shows that he is emotionally stunted (and explains a lot of bad marriages).

I think that he is living in ancient times and really not qualified to be teaching anything in education if this is the way he truely feels. I would report him to a Dean or someone of higher authority.

Well, he does have a good social and psychological point...albeit his lecture methods may be crude.
