I am making a character map but I need a symbol for each important character that I can put by the name. I am thinking of putting masks or crown or something like that.
for example, Bayardo San Roman might have a crown because he is very rich.
The twins might have executioners hoods because they kill Santiago Nassar.

So for those that have read it, what to you think some good ones to use for the main characters?
For those who haven't read the book, what are some good masks/hats/headgear-type things that I could use for a character? just throw some suggestions out there.

I will soon be embarking on yet another milestone, college. While I am absolutely overjoyed at being able to make the transition from high school to college, my biggest fear is that after college I will be bombarded with debt. Please, tell me of your experiences, or current dealings with such a dilema.
All answers are well appreciated.

Introduction to Denmark

Once the home of the Maruding Vikings, Denmark is now a snug and comfortable country, its ancient flag fluttering over family gardens rather than war ships. Even if most Danish people suspect they live in the best of all possible worlds, they have the poor taste to say so. Prosperous and orderly, Danes are also endowed with a streak of humor. They're fond of balance, understatement and good design. Like its people, the country's sights are impressive without being imposing. Copenhagen, the country's capital, is a good example: it's a modern, International city that has managed to remain cozy and compact-most of the sights are only a short walk away. Outside Copenhagen, the countryside offers graceful castles, stout churches and small fishing villages that seem to have been lifted from a story by Hans Christian Andersen.

We've lost the Christmas party to "holiday party" and Easter party to "spring party." The kids are not allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school any more and now there's a new "NO sweet treat" rule. Parents are not allowed to bring anything sweet (cupcakes, birthday cake, brownies, etc) for their birthdays or any other class party. We are only allowed to bring in things like cheese squares, veggies and fruit. The principal said that anything brought in "against her policies" will be confiscated. (Like it's contraband or something.)

I'm all for having healthy kids however I think telling a kid that he has to bring in carrot sticks as a party snack for his birthday is rediculous. The other problem that this is creating is poor self image in these kids. At a birthday party, the kid next door said, "I can't have cake and ice cream, it's not healthy and I don't want to get fat." This is a SIX year old that said this who is NOT fat. This is not an isolated case.

Can she do this?

I was on the phone with Sallie Mae this afternoon. I have a private loan through them for $45,000+-. The loan just entered the repayment period this month (after 2 6-month forbearances) and they are asking for $670.00/month. Here are my monthly finances as of today (I live in CA):

rent: $1025.00
utilities: $150.00
food: $200
transportation: $150
fed. student loan: $50
clothes/etc..: $50
misc.: $200

Total: $1825

This doesn't leave much money for private student loans. Is there a maximum (by law) that they can expect based on my income? Do I have any other options? Please help!!

Right now I am a sophomore in a 4 yr. college, however for the most part, I have take classes specifically for my major. However, I need to transfer to a school in Texas. The problem is that I need to find an area either in S.A. or very close to it. I have used college board to hopefully match me up with a college that has the hospitality management and tourism curriculum. Is it possible for me to transfer to a 2 yr. college and just take the remainder of the courses that I need for this degree and graduate with a bachelor's degree. I have even though about an online course, but i was thinking that future employers may not think I am qualified since it is online. I just dont know what do do. I feel like I am taking a step down by going to a community college, but if it would be possible for me to take the necessary classes there and then apply for graduation? Is this possible??! I need help!

"I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it" - Thomas Jefferson

In my opinion, he believes luck is hard work; that being lucky is having work to do,
but I don't know how I can expand this.
Any help?
It'd be appreciated! Thanks.
