I'm 34, divorced living with my fiancee and my five year old son who has autism. We struggle financially since I am a full-time chemistry major in college and my son can't be placed in a school because he is too aggressive so one of us always has to be home with him plus he has 20+ hours of therapy every week we have to take him to. I was a straight A student until my son got older and his problems became overwhelming. Now I barely am passing. I am over $100,000 in debt with college loans. Should I bail out of my chem degree which will take me years to finish or just try to muddle through? I can graduate next semester with an English degree. Help. I'm drowning.

I asked this question before but didn't get much related information.

I would like to know what are the duties or responsibilities or works that employees do in a school/university or an educational department about e-learning.
Beside designing, puting the data in the LMS(its database) and managing the learning components.....
Can you please explain more about exactly what do they do?

I should write at least about 3-4 sentences about what do they do to make e-learning content usable for students or the users who are related to e-learning.

I have read alot about e-learning but haven't found what are the responsibilities of the people who work and take part in this industry.

Thank you very much.

I heard on the radio this morning that this middle school in Oregon plans on distributing prescribed birth control to their students. School officials stated that the reason they're planning to do this is because parents should not ignore the fact children in this age bracket are having sex. However, many parents argue that middle school students are too young to have birth control pills. The dj stated that he agrees with the parents. He also stated that he thinks it is ok to pass out birthcontrol pills to high school students. What do you think?

I believe I did have ADD when I was a child. No one ever told me, but I was disruptive and I failed the second grade. It went untreated, but I figured that it just "went away" when my grades improved greatly in high school. I graduated with honors, but I had to put a great deal of effort into my studying because I could not absorb info as well as other people. I do suffer from depression, however.

In the 3rd grade I would have some people pull me from class and observe me as I played with some toy soldiers and dinosaurs. I still don't know what the purpose of that was.

In the 4th grade I was put to sit in the back of the room, near the sink, and apart from the rest of the students.

Does this sound like it might have been ADD. Should I seek some kind of help? I am already on Lexapro (since last Wednesday).
