As a past teacher and now stay at home mom, I am infuriated when I see obvoius examples of kids asking others to do thier homework. I'm not talking about one or two things they need for homework help, but the whole thing. How do you feel about it and how do you try to prevent it in your classrooms?

I recently received my AA degree and transferred to a university. I am 21 and I'm finally on my own. I decided not to work this semester to allow myself to become adjusted. I don't party during the week, only once on the weekend. I totally failed my first two tests in my two business courses. The drop date already passed and I have no idea what to do!? I've never done this bad before, and I don't want to fail the entire semester my GPA will be off to a really bad start. Is there any special tricks, or advice anyone can give me so that I can do better? These exams are so much harder then community college and I feel completely lost and discouraged! Please help!??!?
Thank you

This is a fourth grade math question, but even I, in BC calc in 12th grade can't figure out. Shortcuts, answers anything. . .
you have a star compromised of two triangles on top of one another, like star of david. . . If you were todraw circles at teh end poitns and at the intersection lines within the star, and using numbers 1-12, the task is to fill in circles with numbers 1-12 so each line adds up to 26.....no repeating numbers, etc.

calc has taught me however that to find 26, i was to fidn the average of the largest numbr and smallest number so (1+12)/2= 6.5.. and multiply this by 4 since four numbers in a row to get 26.

to fill in numbers in star, well for that i have no idea. HELP!!

I'm a first-year teacher with a very rambunctious group of sophomores in a Geometry class. I've been trying to think of a good project for them to do. Something hands-on would be good. They already did tesselations (a staple of every high school geometry class) and really worked hard on them and did a good job. I'd like to do two projects per semester, but can't think of another good one. If it helps, we're working on proofs and midsegments of triangles right now - but the project doesn't have to be directly related to that.
Any ideas for something I could assign to these kids would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am currently a junior in high school but an extremely ambicious student. I want to fulfill my dream of becoming a pharmacist and I would like to be informed on the basics.

My main question is where and how do you complete the Pre-pharmacy courses?

I do understand that it is 2 years in various scientific courses.

Can it be done in a community college?

Where it is done will affect the chances of being accepted into a school of pharmacy?

All answers please only by Pharmacist or Pharmacy Students.

Thank You.
