what should i write about?

i have to write a creative story about a tree..... could you give me some ideas? (it could be about anything)

You could right a story about a red oak that has lived for hundreds of years...and talk about all of the people through the years that have taken shelter under it's branches.

A tree that was planted when you were born.
As you grew, it also grew.
As you went through hard times, it went through hard weather.
As spring finally came and you were happy to be rid of the
snow and ice, it came to life with new leaves.

Will it keep growing older and become delapidated as you get older and lose some of your phsyical atributes?
Will it still be there when you die?
Will anyone remember why it was planted? Your tree, your life, your story.

The magic wishing tree.. that has different characters inside its walls, the gnome, and fairies. but the strangest thing about the tree is if you go to the tree and one of the characters like you , you are granted one wish.
