"A chilly blast, accompanied by the gentle hum of the AC, swept through me like a ghost and sent shock throughout my system."

Hope that's helpful! Writer's block can be a pain.

Stop and think about the things that make you feel cold, other than the air conditioning. What about a snowy, wintry day, slipping and falling on the ice, the shivers you get from a cold wind, drinking an ice-cold drink on a hot day, someone putting an ice cube down your neck, having the chills when you're sick, goose pimples when you're watching a scary movie, a cold blast of air when opening the door in the winter time. These are just a few suggestions. You can probably think of better ones, but these might get you started. Good luck! Br-r-r-r-!

Although the AC was turned on high ,it was still freezing cold. I was shivering, and my poor feet was all numb.I couldn't feel my heart bit and I thought for a second that it was going to stop due to the excessive cold.

'The air was crisp and fresh, like on a cold winter's morning when you first get out of bed and dive back for the blankets'

'The atmosphere had a chill to it, goosebumps began forming on their arms'

They might not be any good, but I've used the them both in books, feel free to borrow them.

Here is corny:
As the chill of this night opened my small, bath window, I tossed the last of the withered cubes into my cup. My re-lighting of a smothered cigarette lit the end my memories of her icy message, "You stink!".

Why didn't I forgo the inevitable and plunge myself into the nuance of loving?

The air felt like ice against my skin, making the hair on my neck stand on end.
