Is oral sex cunning? Is this a latin based derivative?

No, it comes from cunnus = vulva (cf. c**t) and linctus = licked (cf. language, the basic meaning is tongue), and so it's directly descriptive. Both words are from Latin, since you ask. But my dictionary says the word originated in 1887.
