i need major help in decidng where to transfer to for college. i'm going for lanscape architecture and i know cal poly seem to be the best chose and it is well known name but davis is also not bad. So both school are great but i am wondering how the living style would be like and the cost of living. for example renting a apartment. and jobs avali.

I also got a silly question to ask. i was thinking of quiting school for one year before transfer so i can work and save money. so i won't be stress out when i`m in school. because i know that cal poly lanscape arch. has a program if you drop or fail a course it can take up to another year to continue... any sugguest. it will be great help if those who are FASA student can tell me how much you receive in these school and how living sytle like thanks you so much for your time.

My son speaks pretty well, and I only miss a few words he says, but he uses sign language to make me understand the words he cant pronounce. He will keep going to speach therapy, but what else will he need if I homeschool him?. Do to abuse in the public school, I must pull him out. He was denied water as a form of punishment, which was admitted to my husband on the phone by the teacher. I no longer trust the teacher nor the principal since she hung up on me to protect my son. I keep thinking of the cold weather coming, and worry now they will let him get frost bitten. They didn't care if he dehydrated after he begged for water, so I am done with them. I need some advice on how to homeschool a special needs child. Please no answers with how I should try another school, because they are all ran by the same liberals. I have already homeschooled my older children for 5 yrs. and now homeschooling my youngest daughter, and oldest daughter.

I just thought about the word today. If you put Alpha and Beta together and then take away the 'a' on the end of Beta, it makes the word alphabet. That would make sense if it was true because those are letters in their alphabet and if the Greek were trying to find a name for the list of letters and they just put the first two letters together and got alphabet.

I am currently a senior in high school and next year I plan on attending a 4-year University. I have been extremely irritated lately because my parents keep nagging me about why I'm staying up late studying and doing all these extra curricular activities. They do not understand what it takes to become accepted into a University. They are just completely blind about this whole process. They refuse to be active in my school life and to talk to someone who could explain why i'm doing what I'm doing. It is just so frustrating when my parents aren't giving me encouragement when I need it the most. Someone please help!

I'm looking to go back to college, I graduated back in 2003. I'm a single mom and I work one full time job. I've been searching for grants that can help me further my education and I've applied for the pell grant and another one. But that leaves me about 5,000 short for school. I don't want to have to apply for a loan because I know they check credit and that takes off points on my credit score. Does anyone know of any charities, business, government grants or scholarships that award or give money for college? I don't know if it helps but my major is digital movie production.

okay. so. graham walked to school at an average speed of 3 miles an hour, and jogged back along the same route at 5 miles an hour. if his total traveling time was 1 hour, what was the total number of miles in the round trip?

(the book tells me the answer is 3.75 miles, but i don't know how to get to that answer!)
