is it 5*the square root of 18?
so you would first take the square root of 18 which is approximately 4.2426 and then multiply that by 5 which is 21.2132.

then for 3* the square root of 28, take the square root of 28 which is 5.2915 and then multiply that by 3, and you get 15.8745.

I hope that helps...

for 3 sq. root, do you mean the cube root?
If so, you can just take 28 to the 1/3 power

and do the same with the 5th root of 18
18 to the 1/5 power

5*sqrt(18) = 5*sqrt(9)* sqrt(2) = 5*3*sqrt(2) = 15*sqrt(2)

3*sqrt(28) = 3*sqrt(4)*sqrt(7) = 3*2*sqrt(7) = 6*sqrt(7)

All you can do is factor the number under the sqrt. If you find a perfect square in the factors, like 4 or 9, you can get that out from the sqrt.
