In psychology class today, my professor said that a handful of states, like Hawaii and New Mexico, allow psychologists to prescribe certain medications as long as they complete additional post-doctorate education. In your opinion, is this progressive? Or are they unqualified? Why/Why Not?

ok I had this really miserable teacher last semester...I mean they were a nice "person" but a bad teacher, always late, annoyed w/ students if you didn't get the subject right away, etc.. And unfortunately I found out today that i'm STUCK with the same person. They teach the only section of the class that I need that is being offered. Its also not offered next semester (and i'm scheduled to graduate so I can't wait another year). Any ideas???

what exactly is the status on the MFA in creative writing in regards to it being acceptable for teaching in a university/college?

is it as respected as the PhD?
are the jobs comparable to a PhD?
is the salary comparable to a PhD?

I have a photos project to do and the project is... we had to choose 5 places that we exsist..i picked work, school, home, with friends and girlfriend. then we had to pick 2 adjectives for each area that describes us in that area.. then after that we have to take a picture of an object that reminds us of the adjective that we listed...i need help with what to photograph...

I got my bachelors in mechanical engineering from a pretty good engineering school (UCSB) which ranks one of the highest in terms of research.

I've been wanting to pursue a master's degree at a school with similar prestige. However, I just found a good job in the aerospace industry that pays pretty well and I just got married.

I don't have time to get letters of recommendation or to take the GRE. I'm busy enough trying to support my wife and I. the only thing I could do is get an online master's degree.

I've been reading around and a lot of people are saying UC Davis is not necessarily a "good" school for pre-med since mostly it's agricultural when compared to other schools like...believe it or not...and with all due respect....UCSB

Some even rank UC's as :
1) berkeley 2) UCLA 3) UCSD 4) irvine 5) UCSB(are you kidding me) 6) UC Davis

this is ridiculous....I thought UC Davis had much more reputation than people accredit them for, especially the pre-med "program" (if that's what you'd like to call it)

Am I wrong? or is this true?
so pre-med students at UC Davis should be a bit pessimistic towards their medical school goals?!?

and I've found out that many med students come out from UC Irvine and Davis is ranked like 3rd or 4th...are all my statistics wrong? Am I wrong?
