What pros and cnons are there to each? I am told that proffessors must do constant research. What sort of research? Are the politics of teaching high school worth it?

I am 14 and i really have wanted to act since i was at least 8 but my mom is a single mom and never had the money to pay for an acting group or school. I do practice alot with diffrent accents and all that. I going into highschool and i am taking drama my first year! and here we didnt have drama in jr.high!
Do u think its too late for me? this is one of my major dreams and alot of ppl said that i could be really good at it and i have been invited to a couple schools but like i said my mom didnt have the money! PLEEEEZ HELP ME!!

yea i want a 4-year career that pays at least $30/hr. it can be an office job or any career that doesnt require crazy math, just basic or advanced math. no "sciency" careers, please. just an office job as a business job or w/e. what would be a good career for me?? i play soccer, track(hurdles) and cross country. im taking ap classes, im mexican-american, ambitious and hard-working and law-abiding. help please!!!

that if you major in the same degree would you be missing any information if taken at an "easier" college than a more prestigious one? What are the differences with the majors at different "levels" of college status?

My husband failed an entire semester of college when he was young because he quit going to all his classes. He's back in school and much more serious now but those grades are killing his GPA. Is there any way at all to get that off his record?

I am trying to find a quote that I once came across. The quote is about the realization that home is no longer home but just a place you seem to know. It is probably from a movie or television show but I cannot promise that. I do know that it was about a paragraph in length. If you had seen my face at that point in time, you would have found the sight rather funny. All the color in my face drained. I muttered some incoherent reply and quickly left the classroom. Aside from that little misunderstanding, I thought most of the people seemed very nice at the highschool.

Being a religious Jew since birth, I feel that it is a topic that I can passionately write about. However, I know that writing about religion can very well be a controversial topic or a typically avoided topic. I would not be writing about the concept or general overview of religion or anything involving taking sides though, I would be writing about how my religious life has affected me throughout my life. So freshman year was like hell. I failed sem 1 of algebra with a 58.7 percent. I did alot better sem2 and ended up getting a B so my algebra teacher let me retake sem1 exam to get my half credit back. I passed it and i got my half credit back. Now my counselor and math teacher told me. That out of the 600 freshman at our building 300 failed a semester of either Algebra or Geometry. And it was a 300 and some odd number. Would this really affect me getting into a college? I have a clean record never even had detention. And that was the first class i ever failed in my life. (didnt really fail though since i made it up) And would a college look to see how many kids failed math freshman year since it was half of all the freshman?

What should I get for my 15th birthday?

I don't know what I should get. I already have and Ipod,stereo system,cellphone, and computer. I know that I will get money because, my grandparents already give me $50, and my parents also give me money. Clothes are one thing I don't really want because, I will get a lot of them in the summer time and Christmas time. Thankyou for your oppinions.

hey everyone, i need some advice. i am a senior wanting to apply for college early. i want to attend louisiana state university (lsu) next fall. i've looked at their admission requirements (minimum 3.0 and 22 on ACT.) and their required courses for admission, my gpa is a 3.555 (i average all the required grades together and divided by the number of core credits), but i have a 21 on the ACT. i want to apply early but i'm sort of scared i won't get accepted because of ACT score. The next test i could take is in oct. and that's too long for me. lsu's application deadline is april 15. someone please suggest what i should do with significant details, THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!
