i would wait till you get into ollege to decide your career path because you will learn more about yourself and your interests as you take your core classes in college. Also i would talk to a career counselor so that they can lead you in the right direction. they can give you tests to see what matches your personality.

Good luck

One thing you will find is that jobs for college graduates are usually quoted in annual salaries, not hourly wages. If you are looking at $30/hour, that would be approximately $30x8hoursx300workdays a year, which would be $72,000 per year. Unfortunately, that is approximately twice the average starting salary of a college graduate. Some of the possibilities you might consider, which won't pay $72,000/year, but might pay about $40,000, or more than the average, are things like accounting, sales, financial analysis, or things of that sort. In any of these careers, the salary increases are relatively fast, so that you could earn that $72,000 in 7-10 years, if you progress at a reasonable rate.

Don't rule out middle management or personnel, anything where you manage teams of people. Also, once you enrol in university go to the counselling resource office and ask for an interest inventory. These tests taken along with Meyers Briggs compares your interests with successful professionals and gives you and idea of where you might be happy. They are usually free because they pay for themselves in school continuance and success.
