Like once, at school someone in gym class banged my head together with someone else's -and I'm sure he got that idea from a cartoon.
His mom came to the school and complained to the Principal asked why her son went to school and came back with a knot on his head. So, the teacher had to ask us what happened, and just how it all unfolded was so FUNNY.
So, I think it was a good idea to copy the cartoons. Otherwise things would be just so BORING..

There are 3 children, A, B, and C. The teacher says they will get one chance to get an A for the semester without having to do any more homework. All they have to do is to answer one of his math problems right.
The problem is that he has 5 hats, 3 red and 2 blue. The children are told to stand in line with their eyes blindfolded. The teacher puts one hat on each of their heads and then discards the remaining 2 hats so they cannot be seen. Then the first child is told he can look at the other two children and, judging by the color of their hats, he can guess the color of the hat he wears. He can either guess or pass. (The children will only guess if they are 100% positive they are correct.)
The guess and pass process is carried through with the rest of the children. Student A passes, Student B passes, and then without even opening his eyes Student C guesses correctly what hat is on his head. Explain how he knows without even looking.

One says that January the 1st fell on a Saturday and the other on a Friday! What is going on?

I also calculated myself that it should fall on a Friday, but would Wikipedia be wrong? That is what I am unsure of.

Relating to my first question, is there any way to determine which weekday the 1st of January will fall on for any year?

So my problem is really simple but complicated at the same time. So i am an exchanged worker from Europe in US and trying to get in college here, but its too much money for me. I have good math skills(scored 142 on an iq math test) and phisics too. My questions is really simple. Can you take like a test online for some college to prove that you are smart and get a scholarship? And if yes wich one or where should i look, cause i am sick and tired to search online. When I wake up Im never really hungry, I usually start eating around 2-3 pm. My mom always tells me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but I havnt eaten breakfast in so long that I cant even tell if its damaging my body. So should I just make myself eat breakfast or..?

i really want to go online and finish my 11th and12th grade years online but my parents don't want me to b/c they say that i need to socialize but i already have a boyfriend and we r goin to get married and don't say o you don't know that cuz i do we both have it all planned and everything and i love him very much. but i just want to go ahead and finish so i can go to college(i could "socilize there) and get my RN and start workin. how can i convince them to let me go online i have already asked them 3 times and i have even cried not on purpose though.i told them everything and they still say no you need to soclize and have memories(i think it's cuz my dad never went to prom and he wants me to go, so i can have that memory but i did go to a pre prom n 8t grade). but anywhoo i really wanna do this and i would do anything to do it(i even told em dat) so plz help and tell me what you think i should do??

I will be applying to Law Schools this fall and I was wondering how I was supposed to go about getting recommendations from my old professors. Is it something like where I just have them write a letter and then pick it up from there? I've never collected recommendations before, so if anyone has any experience, it would be much appreciated.

Well, my dream is to be a doctor. More specifically, I want to be an Anesthesiologist. The problem is that I'm totally not into science, but I love math. I'm thinking that my dreams may not work out because taking science classes in my high school is a total bore to me and I'm left uninterested. Soooo.. I also have the pressure of my Asian parents to pursue the dreams of becoming a "doctor," but the lack of interest in the science department is definitely a problem. And I don't really have any other options, especially with the pressure from my family and all. Everyone is expecting me to become one. I love Broadway, but I don't know if that would be the proper career for me. Singing and acting is just a hobby i guess.

I saw a sentence in a book: "We've such difficult problems that no one would like to solve". Well, as far as I know,we cannot abbreviate "we have" to "we've" if the "have" serves as notional verb(also called lexical verb) in a sentence. What do you think?
