We are homeschooling this year and my son has expressed a desire to dissect a frog. I can get a complete kit for around $50 using a source I found online, but really, what is the motivation behind this? I remember doing dissection in school too, I dissected a fish that when I opened up found out it was pregnant. I don't remember really learning anything other than the fact that I felt bad for taking this fish's life, when it was about to lay eggs (even though I didn't actually kill it, it was dead before it got into my hands.) Other than he's a 12 year old boy and he'll think it's cool, what could he possibly learn from dissecting a frog? It's not like the frog's innards are the same as ours. LOL.

Admit it college professors, when you go to group work in class, it's only to kill time?

I get the feeling that my instructors realize that the student body is too lame for group work to serve any purpose, but use it anyway to kill time in their thrown-together course. Admit it, it's filler, right?

At the least, admit that the few students who aren't brain dead are getting totally ripped off.

I read and hear about how High school is the best four years of your life...?

But how? and why?

See I wasn't even going to go to high school but now I am and yet I still need some reassurance on why should I go to a public school instead of cutting a year off by going to a charter school or so on? Whats so great about it?

Are these two sentences correct? "she didnt know about that" and "she never knew about that"

As far as i know, the sentence "she knows about that" is right. But in the past sense, is "she didnt know about that" correct? and does it change from 'know' to 'knew' when 'never' is used?

i am un able to attend classes this semester because?

i need a good lie to tell to family why i am not attending class this semester or next pertaining to my financial aid ...but the real deal is i failed a class two semester and i am on academic suspension. and as we speakl my family think that im at the university doing my financial aid i can tell the m something on these areas but i have no clue what to say. i am 6 months behind on child support, or something about my income tax wich on last year i did my fasfa using my income wich was nearly 0 dollars, but somebody carried my on their taxes so i need help please
