Going from Elementary school to Middle school can be a big change for everyone. Here are some tips when you start middle school:

-Just be yourself. Being yourself will help you make lots of great friendships. And they can last a lifetime. If your not acting like yourself, then your not letting other people getting to meet the real you.

-If you want to make some friends, don't be shy. Join some clubs, talk to the person beside you in class, or start up a conversation at lunch time. If you don't talk, you won't have a chance to meet great people around. I've been through that in middle school. I was like the quietest person. But before I knew it, I was in the school play :D

-Be on time. Since you have 6 classes or so, make sure you don't get caught of the time you have during passing period

-Be organize. If you have a locker, keep it nice and neat. If your locker is organize, you can get your stuff quicker and catch to class on time, or have a chat with your friends

Have fun in middle school

This is the time in your life where you start to see the world for what it really is. You will meet some really wonderful people and you will meet some complete jerks. Guard yourself against those who will take advantage of you because there are alot of boys and girls who will do just that. I'm sure you know all about cigarettes and drugs and alcohol. Thats a personal choice but I recommend that you take the high road and rise above all that. Even the teachers you meet will be different. Some will seem unfair and uncaring but then you will meet some that will have a very positive effect on your life. Take it as it comes and trust your heart and your gut instinct. I wish you the very best.

I won't lie, it's a lot different than elementary school. The best advice I can give you is this: stick with your friends from elementary school and just gradually add new ones to your existing circle of friends. Don't ever try to be anyone you're not in order to gain popularity, and if you do end up being popular, PLEASE don't be one of those mean girls who pick on the less pretty, less popular girls and make them cry every day. You will feel bad about doing that someday. As long as you keep your true friends by your side, you'll have a good time in middle school. Good luck!!

Middle school was a breeze to me. Think of it as Elementary school. It's just more kids and maybe better food. Also it's kids who think they are all that but really they are not well that what i though. Do some school activities you will get to meet new people that's what i did be friendly to people and if you stick around the right crowd middle school shouldn't be a problem. Well I hope that this is good advice and good luck.

I just graduated from middle school (i'm going into high school). It's a LOT different from elementary school, but it's not scary different. You just have more teachers, a locker, no playground, electives, and more work. The one thing you need to survive is time management. If you have this, you will have the key to a good year. I also suggest you try to bond with your teachers, as it makes it more fun. I became good friends with all my teachers last year, so talking to them was never an issue. This helps if you have a problem or grade question, because you already are comfortable with talking to them! Hope I helped :)

It's very scary at first. The school I went to was really huge and had about 3000 students and the whole first week I kept getting lost because everything looked the same...I nearly cried on the first day because I was so afraid I would never make it any of my classes and would be lost forever but was too scared to ask anyone for help. And even by 8th grade I still got turned around looking for the bathrooms sometimes lol. But it is a lot of fun. There's a lot of really silly drama caused by the "cool" girls who have been dating since 4th grade or whatever. Ignore them and just enjoy what's left of your childhood. :)

Middle school is sooooo much fun! Just make sure you don't try too hard to make friends and if they try to tell you to do things you don't want to do, don't do it! There are plenty of things that will come your way and all you need to do is say no! Believe me, you will still be a cool kid. Most importantly, do well in school and focus on what's good for your future. Other than that, have fun! the field trips are so much fun! Good luck!

some people liked middle school i didn't everyone was in their little cliques. it's all overrated. JUST BE YOURSELF. don't try hard to fit it, just go your own way. don't be scared, it's a new experience but nothing to be afraid of. just stay clear of people who will only pull you down in the future.

BEST OF LUCK!
