It is called 'Round The Mulberry Bush' and has been altered over the years to meet the needs of both teachers/parents and children.
Its original purpose was to teach children about the chores done around the home or farm...round the Mulberry was going around the bush to make sure you got all the berries...early in the morning was getting up at the crack of dawn to start picking before animals got there/ getting certain chores out of the way REALLY early since it took longer to do things than it does today.
