Any ideas for trivia articles for school newspaper?

As of the upcoming school year, I am the official editor of my school newspaper. I need to come up with some trivia ideas that can be used in the paper for a prize. Any suggestions?

Take pics of students' or teachers' feet with shoes. Ask for the name of the person wearing those shoes. Make a weekly quiz out of it.

Have a book covering seminar/"how to' in the paper.

Make an "Oddest Random Thing Heard on Campus" weekly snippet

Have a segment on the hobby of a teacher (a stamp collector or a gourmet cook or something)

Keep a log of the newspapers found around the school after the publishing. . .4 found in gym trash, 3 in teacher's Lounge - that kind of thing.

Hey when I was in high school I was the schools editor too!!! That's awesome, what kinds of things were you looking to doing and what do you have for the paper so far?? Then I can think of some ideas

Go with local or school trivia, something interesting about your town/city or school. Check with you principal and local town officials to find out obscure facts about your area. That way you can localize the game and it will be harder for students to just Google the answers they will actually have to do some research.

How about putting cool trivia like that the school was built over Indian burlal grounds, or other interesting stuff like that. Or about naming famous people that attended that school.
