Education & Reference - 5 July 2007

I am going to transfer to a university for the fall, and want to quit my pizza delivery job, and sell my car and just ride my bike a couple of miles to get to school. I need to lose weight, and it will be tight not working, but I will have more time on my hands for school and activities and since gas is so high why even bother? Well I will be able to pay my few bills (rent, food and phone bill) with grants, loans and the little savings that I have. Whar do you guys think? Have you done this kind of thing before? The grocery store is accross the street, and any student can ride the bus for free so you can get to the mall etc. Bills would be approx 700/mo

I have a degree in sociology and have been trying for 3 years to get a decent paying job. A degree now a days is just like a high school diploma, everyone has one. I have also noticed that its not what you know, its who you no, when looking for employment. I have seen people with no education but with years of experience at CEO, Director and management positions. What should I do ? If so, what area of study should I get into, where I will get a job?

I just received my AP scores... but i think they've made a mistake on the exams that i've taken. I took the APUSH exam but they listed APUSH and APES. I was wondering if they made a mistake on my grade as well. Should i call in to talk to them?

I took the SAT for the first time in June and made a 1570 without any preparation. I plan to take it again in October. I am number 11 out of 445 at the end of my junior year. I have a 3.931 cumulative unweighted GPA and a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.639. I am a member of the National Beta Club and the National Honor Society. I do volunteer work and ran cross country in 9th grade. Thanks for all the help!!!

I am going to start high school in the fall this year and I am very excited. The orchestra at my school, from what I hear, is not that old, fairly new. So it might be looking for anybody. But how many years of experience would you need on an instrument to join on average? I know some instruments probably require more than others, so please try to list as many as you can. Thank you.
