This is what I wrote:
Today’s society is living under constantly fear about almost every aspect of our existence. Everyone has to rely on high technology measures to protect the security of their residences, financial dealings, even up to their vehicles.

People tend to take care of their personal assets and now more than ever their personal data. As personal information such as bank account and pin numbers has also became part of one’s personal valuable.

There is the danger of once personal record falling into the wrong hands these days. Should this happened, one can find herself/himself into a lot of problems.

is this a good score? I don't think so. is there any way I can leave it off my transcipt or not send it to the colleges I will be applying to?I really want to go to UCB, and I think it would really hurt me if they saw it. I also took the AP Spanish exam my sophmore year and got a 5. Won't they start wondering if my AP Spanish exam was a REAL 5? I mean, on my application, they'll see I am Mexican-American. thanks...

I want to know if you have no previous expierence as an analyst and or a finance manager with a top company can you still get into this rewarding field. I have friend going Warton for his mba, he graudated from the University of New Haven is white and american born and studied management. He started his own company right after college and wants to change careers. His major in graduate school is corporate finance, accounting, real estate and international business. BUt he feels that his undergraduate school is no good and his lack of analyst expierence will shut the doors on him.

He knows that IB;s want people with previous expierence as analysts with ivy league educations.

especially when i see ads for cars, gadgets, etc, they sometimes use the word "sleek" and sometimes "slick" to describe how nice their product looks.

i think i've seen more uses of "sleeks" than "slicks" but anyway what's the difference between the two? i would like to hear your own words rather than the "dictionary" definitions.

ok so a few months ago we had to pick a lanuage we wanted to learn in high school

we HAVE to take a language class twice.
like french 1 then french 2
that HAS to be done by the time u graduate from highschool.
its part of the high school curriculum that we pick one lanuage

the choices were:
french
german
spanish

well i chose french cuz i've been taught spanish since like 3rd grade or so till 8th grade except 7th cuz it wasn't in our curriculum

i wanna do something in the medical field like doctor or pharmacist.

do you think its ok i won't take spanish in highschool at all?
cuz i've been taking spanish in elementary and 8th grade.
as long as i remember i've been taught spanish so i'd say i know spanish a little and i don't think i would need spanish to be a doctor

I'm going to be a junior this upcoming school year(19 year old female) with 94 units completed by the end of fall 2007. I currently go to a Cal State that has a crappy rep for journalism(sadly it has no accredation) and I'm minoring in creative writing. I was going to transfer to Michigan State but because I have completed so much already I figured I'd wait until grad school to move out of state. Besides all the info(that was probably useless), I wanted to know what I should do before I graduate to sort of boost my skills and resume for a possible broadcast career in sports journalism. Details would be great. I love sports, but I wouldn't call myself an expert. Internships? Tips? ANYTHING! :) I just feel like I'm going through a 'major' crisis!

I just finished my junior year but would like to apply in the fall. I have a 4.11 average because of AP classes, I have taken 4 yrs of chorus, I am section leader of Soprano 1's, apart of the selected jazz choir, participated in all-county(Suffolk, NY) last year, was an all-state alternate (I received a "100" on my all-state piece), i should be participating in all-county and all-state this upcoming fall because I once again scored a "100" on my all-state nyssma solo. I am also taking AP Music Theory my senior year. What are my chances?

I don't know why this bugs me, but there are three letters that produce the same sound, C, K, and Q. Now I can understand why C and K co-exist, K came from the Greeks, C came from the Etruscans and was similarly adopted by the Romans who conquered the Greeks and preferred their letter C because it was probably more eye pleasing. But since a certain rule involving the letters E and I made it necessary pronounce C as an S, it appeared that the Northern Europeans adopted the Greek letter Kappa as "Kay" to allow "ka" sounds to be used before E and I, unless that happened to be the original reason for the letter Q's existence. But of course, Q is most always reserved for the instances when it's paired with U for the "kwa" sound that it can't make by itself, or then again, in Spanish it seems to replace instances where a K would be in loan words but even then it's followed by a U (and another vowel after). So what I want to know is, is Q in the alphabet for a good reason?
