Hello,I am currently twenty four years of age. I've been out of highschool of course for awhile now. In my early twenties I joined up with the United States Military. I've been working within the field of Dentistry with the Military as my primary responsibility. And I am currently Reserve service obligation within the Dental field to this day. I will soon be starting Community College in order to get into the mix of educational study once more since I have been out of school for a few years. And plan to transfer over to a four year university. While doing Dental within the military I have found that it's actually an enjoyable job. It is truly something I appreciate and enjoy doing. Some of the Doctors of Dental Surgery within my Unit have told me to progress toward Medical School. But others have told me that I am starting off late. Even an Advisor at the college I plan to transfer to have made a remark that I am starting too late. I really want this. Is this really a proper choice?

Here's the math problem: -3(2-f)=2(f-4). It's a even number problem, so the answer is not in the book(odds only).

I was talking to my 38 year-old friend--telling about someone on YA asking who the first president was. I thought a person knew that by third grade. Well, she didn't.
I feel a person should at least know the first and sixteenth presidents were. One doesn't have to know the number--just who was in office was the year he or she was born and who is presently in office.
A person doesn't have to know that the Washingtons weren't in the White House, nor that Washington had no biological kids. How can one not know who president #1 was?

I am an Education major and I am trying to build up my library. I realized that about 80% of my books are fantasy, so I'm trying to find some good books in different genres. I'm looking for books that have some diversity. The books can be funny, silly, or touch on sensitive issues.

I am not worried about the age groups, I figure if I have a bunch of books for different grade levels then it won't matter because I'll have my own kids too! :)

Thanks!

I was asked this question at a recent job interview. I had a horrible student teaching experience, so when I was asked, I said that lack of teaching support was the hardest part. I explained how much harder it was for me to do everything alone without other student teacher support. I had fourth grade alone, but others on my team were in the same grades and got to work on lessons and ideas together). Anyway, I was just curious if I should've said something different, like classroom management? Any ideas? Any suggestions?

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” if u could sum it up in one sentence what would the main idea be?

Do you think that this is wrong?
My SS Teacher is racist
First of all: My test average in her class for the 1st quarter was an 85....and my project grade was 100. She gave me a 88 on my report card. Also, during the first marking, she collects 4 random classnotes and checks if you did them right. She gave me a 15/20 (which is a 75) and she added it to my grades....so i ended up with an 88
Then the second marking period- i got a 20/20 on classwork (100), my test score average was a 90, and project was 100. I got an 80 on my 2nd quarter, which some of you might think is not bad, but i got kicked off honor roll and was embarassed by my whole class..since i was the only one who got an 80 and everyone else got a 100 in her class. (Yes, 100's for every single student except me) My parents came up to her and asked her why i got an 80 after my test scores were awesome, my classwork was great, and my project grade was great...do you know what she said? "your daughter got a 75 on her notes!"

I'm going to be a senior and I have 2 open classes left but I'm not sure which courses to take. I've narrowed it down to
Bio AP-more related to what i want to do
Chem AP- probably less related
Anatomy and Physiology (not available as an AP Course just as Honors)
Physics AP
or World Area Studies- to boost my GPA?

which one would be most helpful in my career pursuit?
