It mean that although sometimes being strong can beat being smart or kind, in the end brains and heart always win because power without inner strenght isn't power at all.

It means that spiritual force would pummel physical strength in the ground. It takes more than physical strength to be faithful.

the spirit will eventually overcome brute strength. the spirit will live and fight on after strenght is gone. This was pretty much true for the WWII soldiers.
