I want to mail a letter to someone but I don't want this person to see my mailing address. Can I put a different address that isn't mine as the return address? How can I do this?

You don't even have to put a return address. The only thing is if it is mailed to wrong address, they won't be able to return it back to you- and you'll never know if that "someone" got it. That is what return addresses are used for. [= Hope this helped!

Put it in the mail without a return address . . . (duh)
The only thing they will know is the city from the postal mark .
Which , they might then look you up in the phone book .

use their address as the return address & drop it in a public mailbox- then it will reach the destination you want either way

certain, you would possibly want to also mail it from a distinct city in case you want to cover the mailed city on the postmark. or you are able to in simple terms use a go back handle that is incorrect. i guess the priority is that you handle it to the right human being interior the loved ones. i'm no longer certain if mail is the right thanks to chop up with someone (i'm certain there are the rationalization why it may be favourite), yet that wasn't the question.

Just leave the upper left hand corner blank. Don't put anything at all.
