Yale sends pamplets to high school minority students from small towns, but are they really affordable to us without scholarship. I have always maintained a 4.0 in a Honors Course. I would like to know if attending a school of this caliber is possible for a small town girl.

An implosion is a specific scientific phenomenon, not using plastic explosives to destroy a building inwardly so it won't hurt anything else around it.
Why not just be correct and say "demolish" or "destroy"? I'm sick of these idiots who misuse the word and warp its meaning. Is anyone else sick of this, too?

everytime i hand her my paper she smiles and says "thank you" she also seems anxious when im handing her my paper like shes eager to show me her politeness. I go to a community college and I have a G.P.A. of 3.8. I am a full time student, I have a part-time job, and I volunteer on a weekly basis: tutoring at a library and at a hospice. So heres the thing. I got accepted to CSUN, which is a california state university. Obviously it isn't so good since the gpa to get accepted is a 2.0 I have a 4.00. I will also probably get accepted to UCLA. The thing is I want to go to medical school and I know I will not be able to compete with all those people (you know who) who study at UCLA all day and all night. They stay up the whole day, including lunch breaks, just to study. At CSUN I will be able to compete more and will probably come out with at least a 3.5 at the hard classes. So what's worth more, the 3.5 at CSUN or say a 3.0 at UCLA?
