My son is going to be six on April 26th. When he started Pre- K he was diagnosed with a language delay and he had so many problems with unacceptable behaviors. I was always being called at work and school to pick him up. Now in Kindergsrten he is attending speech but is doing outstandiung with his speech but the behaviors continue. My husband has been deployed for five years and it is just him and I. I am so frustrateded becaus I dont know what to do. I have tryed spanking, punsihment, taking the t.v. dvd's etc. My husband does not support me at all. He is against medication. I dont know what is wrong because my son has no issues academicaly. He has been reading since pre-k, can spell, you name it he can do. He has been tested for autism and does not have it. I dont know what to do? I am bringing him to be evaluated for ADD & ADHD next week. Should I consider medication? I dont want his behavor issues to affect his work or contiunue throughout his schooling.I need help!

I'm a college student, my major is Biochemistry but I also enjoy Fashion. When I first started college I wanted to major in Fashion Design and Marketing, but instead I chose my other passion: Medicine. Actually, first my major was Computer Science, now I'm working towards a career as a pharmacist (therefore Biochemistry). I really want to be a pharmacist but I also really want to own a clothing store someday where I will sell my own designs along with other clothing lines/brands. I could have double majored but like I said, when I started college my major was Computer Science (for two yrs) then in my third year I decided to change major (Biochemistry). I could do it now but it will take me longer to transfer to a 4 year university. I have already wasted two years in community college (when I was a Computer Science major) and I really want to get out of there and transfer as soon as possible. So, my question is the following...

I'm planning on going back to school this year but was told by the department of job and family services that I would have to wait and see if they get funding for WIA. I'm freaking out because it's almost April and classes start in September.I want everything to go smoothly this year. If I don't get a grant from WIA, I'm looking at being around $5,000 short for my tuition. I applied for WIA once before and I wasn't qualified because I was already enrolled. Anyways, I'm worried. Does anyone have any idea when WIA would be getitng funds?

I am almost done with my AA, and I am interested in pychology, human resources, law, arbitration, and dental hygiene, but I can't seem to find any websites that have good background information on these careers and how to obtain them. As far as schooling and education requirements, and other general info.

I got into UCLA, UCSD, and Berkeley. I'm Pakistani, Muslim ( I don't know why you would need to know that, but oh well) and planning on majoring in double-majoring in Journalism and Political Sci/Mid-east Studies and possibly having a minor in Arabic.
Which school would be best for me? I want to go to a school that's diverse.

earlier today, i sterilized plastic baby bottles, nipples, etc. problem is, i went out but forgot to turn the stove off. when i got home, everything melted. smoke filled the entire apartment. the fire department got the smoke out, but the smell remains. is the smell toxic, or dangerous? i'm airing out now, so hopefully it'll be gone soon.

Hey there all - a buddy of mine asked if I knew of any places that might be able to help her financially go back to nursing school - and I was stumped.
She would like to quit her job and go full time - are there any other options than student loans that you know of?
Thanks a bunch
