I'm a college student, my major is Biochemistry but I also enjoy Fashion. When I first started college I wanted to major in Fashion Design and Marketing, but instead I chose my other passion: Medicine. Actually, first my major was Computer Science, now I'm working towards a career as a pharmacist (therefore Biochemistry). I really want to be a pharmacist but I also really want to own a clothing store someday where I will sell my own designs along with other clothing lines/brands. I could have double majored but like I said, when I started college my major was Computer Science (for two yrs) then in my third year I decided to change major (Biochemistry). I could do it now but it will take me longer to transfer to a 4 year university. I have already wasted two years in community college (when I was a Computer Science major) and I really want to get out of there and transfer as soon as possible. So, my question is the following...

Or, in your opinion, is it better to just double major?

Yes, you can attend two colleges at once, as long as your class schedules don't conflict. My mom is going back to college to be a teacher, and she already has a degree from the University of Michigan (a good college), so she's just going to not-so-good colleges right now to earn the necessary requirements. She's going to two different colleges, one of them on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the other on Tuesday and Thursday. It's a lot of work, but if you're up to it, you can.

You can attend more than one college if you want. I have never seen any restrictions on that, in fact many people do attend a University and a Junior College at the same time because Junior Colleges are cheaper and usually closer to home.

However, you should think about the quality of your work if you try to study two different subjects at the same time. With the large difference between learning styles of Biochemistry and Fashion (I believe that one of right brain and the other left) then I think you will hurt your quality of learning in both subjects...

But, if you enjoy Fashion and if you living independently, are paying for your own lifestyle and education.. then you can study anything you want.. so why study Biochemistry instead of, or with, Fashion?

anyone can attend two colleges at the same time- the only limitatons would be cost- of course you'd have to be like rich. i doubt the government will award you much financialaid if you're attending mroe than one college at a time. of course- it will probably take you longer than 4 years to earn both degrees and you'll probably have to take full course loads in your summers. good lcuk!
