Does it irritate you that student's requesting homework help can't even spell let alone use the spell check before posting their questions? I don't mind giving some tutoring help, but if I can't even read the question because of all the typos then the student is SOL!

Well, there's a drawing of a cylinder and neither the radius (nor diameter) or height are given. All it says is:

a. The base of this cylinder has an area of 302.5 pi cm squared. Find the cylinder's radius.

b. The rectangular piece that can be used to form the curved side of this cylinder has an area of 110 pi cm squared. Find the cylinder's height.

I got 9.8 cm for the radius, is that what you came up with??? If not, can you please show me your steps.

I can't seem to figure out what the height is...Can you please help me and explain how you got it, or at least show the steps?

PLEASE and THANKS, I really appreciate any help with this!!!

TUMBRIL?

I just wish I could go back in time or something.

I've never had D's, but now I do. I don't what what I did or, necessarily, what happened. I had decent grades everywhere else like usual--but the two classes I'm behind in (math and Spanish) are horrible. I don't know what to do and I feel like I've just ruined all my hard work so far--three years of good grades all down the drain.

If I don't get the grades up somehow, then my core 40 with honors diploma is also ruined.

For my Photojournalism class, we have to film a 3-5 min. documentary. I live in a city in Virginia, but there isn't much that happens around here. Basically I was wondering what should I do for a documentary? After seeing March of the Penguins, I don't think making a documentary can be much fun...lol. But I need something that will blow my professor away. What would be a good idea?
