I just wish I could go back in time or something.

I've never had D's, but now I do. I don't what what I did or, necessarily, what happened. I had decent grades everywhere else like usual--but the two classes I'm behind in (math and Spanish) are horrible. I don't know what to do and I feel like I've just ruined all my hard work so far--three years of good grades all down the drain.

If I don't get the grades up somehow, then my core 40 with honors diploma is also ruined.

I hope you weren't conditionally accepted because otherwise you're at the mercy of your teachers.

otherwise start going in for extra help at lunch and afterschool...don't go to the movies with your friends on thursday night (or whatever), go to the math brains house and ask for help going over the last test or the latest homework assignment.

when you put in the extra effort, the teachers will notice. some will even bump your grade up because they know you were trying and not just moping around saying "oh man i'm bombing this class"...they want to see you take the initiative, so do it!

See if you can re-take the exams and do an extra credit projects...if your teachers know you are normally an awesome student, they'll be more willing to help you out. Check into it with the school's college counselor, sometimes your last semester doesn't even really count towards college...at my high school I had all the credits I needed by halfway thru senior year, and bombed my last four classes - the grades techinally didn't even count since my transcripts had already been sent out!

do extra credit, study extra for these two classes this time around, get a tutor, go in to the teacher after class or in their office times and get help.

also, just becuaser ytou have a d now doesnt mean youve got a d in the end. theres still half the semester left. you could average out to a B if you apply yourself.

also, do all your work and turn it in on time. and study for the test before the day of the test.

I don't think the "Ds" will kill you. Plus, you are doing good overall. What grade are you in? I got some Ds and Fs on exams, but never as a final grade in HS. Make sure that you are involved, that you try and pull up your grades, but don't really worry too much. Sometimes people will scare you about college acceptance and college in general, but it's not too bad.

well if your grades were so great the past 3 years then a slip up wont affect it that much, just work harder, its ur future ahead of you, try not to get caught up in senioritus(slacking off because summer is near) and remember if you are that close dont give up, and try to spend less time with your friends and spend more with your teachers(or the book)STUDY!STUDY!STUDY!

Try studying more...if you get higher grades on papers it should bring your grade up. Also, try dedicating more time to the subjects.
