ok,the thing is,im really shy and i stutter when talking with certain people. but i have to do the A level thing so i could go to university..but in my country,we never do interviews so i'm really scared...i don't know how to overcome this shyness..

please help... any advice would do..

I never took one out before and i would like to know how they work. so far i only know that student loans repayment does not start until graduation or 6 months after graduation.

my questions are:

1. are the loans affiliated with school? or are they separate private entities ilke citi, chase, etc

2. how does the loan get to me? does it come by check in the mail and i cash it and pay it to the school as if its like my own money?, or do i have to provide proof of the tuition bill first in order to get the loan money.

3. what are the requirements to get a student loan? i am almost done with community college and im going to a 4 yr school in the fall. is it a complicated processs and does it take awhile to get through?

In today's modern world we have the wonderful option to take many college courses online. One battle I am having is how to study effectively in these non-lecture courses. Though I read all the required materials, take notes, study notes (I spend at least 2 hrs studying/week for each credit, so a 4 cr class is 8 hrs), etc. Yet I find myself getting confused when trying to answer multiple choice questions and find myself making stupid errors. While this is also true for me in standard college lecture-based courses, this issue is more prevalent in my non-lecture online classes. I am still successful in my online classes, but I strive for the best and I know I could improve my reading/studying/test taking skills.


So what techniques or habits can I adapt to improve my reading and studying skills for primarily online classes?

Can i ask the admission for options or is there no chance, and if there is an option how should i approach it.
My math scores were higher than my english scores and i have more accomplishments in sciences such as science fair science olympiad and robot ramble would it change anything if i told the admission that i would like to change my selection from political science to mechanical egineering. ... thanks in advance

I have been considering college since I was about 9 or 10(I'm 14 now) and I really have my heart set on attending for criminal justice.

But I told some of my friends about it and asked what they thought about their own educations, and most of them said they haven't even thought about what major- so I am wondering whether I might need to stop thinking that far ahead and concentrate on the time being. I get pretty good grades for the most part, and my teachers don't let me forget it. That's really what motivated me.

I have been browsing university websites (and Yahoo Education) too see what school would be best. My aunt recommended Maryland State, her daughter went there too. I have really considered it, but have been looking at others. Like NC State, I have some relatives in NC and it would be nice to get warmer temps too. But, I am an out-of-stater (Pennslyvania), so I don't think the tuition would be worth it.

What do you think?
