I am getting ready to go to college this fall. I have two prospective colleges in my area that I am interested in. The schools have to be in my area as I have a family and can't move.
Both offer a Pre-Medical program and are very good schools. In my research to help decide which school to attend I came accross USNews.com that had one school ranked high in a classification called "Master's Universities" and one that ranked high in "Comprehensive College's". Aside from this and the fact that one is in an urban setting and the other is in a suburban setting they are almost identical, tuition, affiliation, selectivity, ect.
I have tried to research which would be the better path between them from a medical standpoint, but can't find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which would be better ... Taking all AP classes and barely passing them (or even failing one) ... or Taking all Regular classes and passing them with A's ... i'm only asking this because that's the predicament i'm in now. I'm currently in 4 AP classes, 3 of them i just passed barely with a 71, 73, and 74 .. and the other i failed with a 66 ... but the other regular classes im in I passed with A's ... so which is better for me to do in order to get into a good college in the near future?

I don't think i'm setting this systems of equations word problem up correctly...if not how?


Tickets for one show on the Harlem Globetrotters' 75th Anniversary Tour cost $10, $18, or, for VIP seats, $30. So far, five times as many $18 tickets have been sold as VIP tickets. The number of $10 tickets equals the number of $18 tickets plus twice the number of VIP tickets. Sales of these total $9500. How many of each kind of ticket have been sold?

I tried to set it up like this but it doesn't work out to the right answer. Am I setting it up incorrectly?

If -
$10 = T
$18 = E
$30 = V

E = 5V
T = E + 2V
E + T + V = $9500

When I was in high school I had this teacher that gave us a personality test. I don't remember what it was called but he got it out of this book that came with a tape and a couple worksheets. What it all boiled down to was you either had an A,B,C, or D personality type. You could be one personality type and boarderline another one too. Ex.---Main personality type A, but you tend to share some effects of the B personality type. What my question is.........Is there anyone out there that knows what book/test thing I'm talking about? What is it called?
What personality type are you? I'm a full pledged 'C' and I actualy hate it. I wish I could be an A or B. I hate being so in depth about everything I say and write, but I can't help it and it drives me crazy.

My little sister wants to go for house captain at her school and she has to write a speech and say it infront of everyone in her house. She asked me for ideas but I have none. She wants to make a speech that is interesting and that will make people vote for her but not too corny!
