Seems like you are looking for an excuse to slack off. Stay in the AP classes, and try to work a little bit harder to get your grades up. By the way, what are you doing in Yahoo answers at midnight when you could be sleeping or studying?

If you think you need to drop down and aren't worried about (obviously) not being challenged enough, dropping down to regular might be an option.
However, you might consider that maybe you're just in TOO MANY AP classes and should stick to a couple you're interested in/ think you can do well in if given more time and dropping down to regular. So maybe stick to 1 or 2 of your current AP classes and drop to regular in the other classes.
I would think that colleges want to see that you're challenging yourself. If you took AP/other advanced classes up until now, they might notice that you dropped down as soon as they got harder. So think clearly about what you want to do it before you do.
Also, if your school weighs AP classes differently from regular classes, you might consider that fact, too.

If I had it to do over again. When I took the courses I didn't spend the money to get the college credit for it. I was hoping for some decent scolorships because i had good grades and a decent gpa, but I was taking some of the hardest courses in HS i could.
To do over: I'd have taken the easier courses and gotten a 4.0 gpa getting me a better scholorship for college.
Though if your not planning on going to college, and are taking those classes for the sake of learning, then stick with em.

If I were your mother, I would say you could take only 2 AP classes each year, and they would be in subjects that you have proven in the past that you excel in.
The other classes would be regular.
I think you could easily justify this to a college by your current record this year. Just say with all your extracurriculars you could only handle 2 AP classes.

AP classes help you in that you are not as far behind - relatively speaking - when you begin college. BUT those are the grades that will be on your transcript when you apply. If it was my choice, I would take the regular classes and work just as hard as if they were the AP classes.

a GPA below 2.5 NEVER looks good. Think of it this way...the people who get F's in regular classes would also get F's in AP classes, the AP won't help them at all. At least in regular classes, you would get a 4.0
