I have been approved for the whole first year. My loans are through Sallie Mae. From your experience/knowledge, will I be approved for the rest of college? Any idea what my chances are? I'm not sure this isn't a silly question, I just never thought to ask until now... What set me to wondering is that when I tried to take out an extra loan to help me with living expenses I was denied (to any critics, yes I work full time as a vet's receptionist, no I do not eat out or get highlights, and I still need help!) :-) I'm nervous that I won't get approved for next year's school... Also, will my chances next year be any better for taking out a loan for living expenses so I can move out of my parents house? Thank you for reading this; any information is greatly appreciated! -Laura To clarify: my questions are 1) Will I be approved for next year's loans, and 2) will my chances of being approved for a 'living expenses' loan be improved next time around?

I am about to be a sophmore in a biochemistry program at a really great science univeristy...I am pre-med so is it a good idea to start studying on my own for the MCAT's now..I have just taken biology, chemistry, calculus I, II and will be taking III and biostatistics...physics next year...but when is it best to start so I can do really well and know all my material. Also what year do you have to take it in and are there any grants for people who do well?

Okay, I am a Higschool Student right now and I am currently in my sophomore year (10th). Last year I did poorly, unfortuantly i got a 2.6 GPA overall (2.7 sem1; 2.5 sem 2). This year my grades somewhat improved but not as I hoped for Semester 1 i got a 2.85 GPA. I still have second semester to go and i am trying to do better and at LEAST get a 3.0-3.5 (mostly B's). I am in College-Prep courses (CP) right now. Next year I am trying to go for mostly A's in all my classes and senior year also. If i get all A's from junior year until senior year 1st semester what will my GPA go up to? I currently have a 2.68 (for 3 semesters so far). I have 4 semesters left and if i get all A's, what will my GPA raise up to from a 2.68??. on the 4.0 scale since im in CP? also, for colleges..im not looking to go to a 2 yr/comm college or voc school/state school. im looking for a 4-year, priv, unv. any good tips will be great!! =]] k thanks =]

Ok so I cheated ona lit. test and there was a sub so the sub told another one of my teachers and shes like did you do it I said no, I had the papers on my desk but I didnt cheat. So shes like I'll tell your lit. teacher and she'll decide what to do.
And so Idk what dothe lit. teacher isnt the nicest person around (shes a sub too).
So I Need help I wont worry about feeling gulilty or feeling good about telling I cheated. I just dont wanna get in trouble from my mom. please help.

Next September I will be starting high school and I am really scared. I heard that being a freshman sucks alot becuase the older kids always beat you up or pick on you. And that the older kids take advantage and cut infront of you in line and stuff. The rumors that go around in my middle school are scary. I hear if you even look at a senior or junior the wrong way they like get even with you. Can anyone help at all?
