There are so many degrees available for engineering but these are also dependent on the universities offering them. Some universities offer only a few of them.

These are the available ones not exactly in the order of my recommendation to you as a future lady engineer:

1. Computer Engineering
2. Industrial Engineering
3. Management Engineering
4. Chemical Engineering
5. Mechanical Engineering
6. Electrical Engineering
7. Civil Engineering
8. Sanitary Engineering
9. Electronics and Communications Engineering
10. Geodetic Engineering
11. Metallurgical Engineering
12. Mining Engineering
13. Textile Engineering
14. Aeronautics Engineering
15. Materials Engineering

Good luck. We need lady engineers, too. A few years ago, a lady Engineer became the president of the ASME.

This is an interesting question, and a big one. I recommmend the Try Engineering web site I have linked below.

On this page, you will find a listing of all of the possible engineering disciplines in which you can major in college, and tells you (through further links) about each one. This is the best way I know of for you to get a feeling for the full scope of the vast field of engineering.

Electrical is just like what it sounds, designing the structure of a circuit board or something that takes a specific format to build.
Aeronautics is using a lot of physics and math to find out how airplanes and other aeronautical vehicles will react in flight.
Architectural is using a lot of geometry and trig to design buildings.
God speed to you, I hope that this helps.

Electrical, mechanical, civil, petroleum and so forth. You should go to your schools new student orientation and talk to a counselor in the engineering department to see what you would like to major in.
