Ive just booked a maths tutor for my son costing £28 an hour there is a few charging £15 plus travelling costs depending on where you live to how much would cost you.i have enquired about a tutor for my son if he does not get into the chosen school in September i have to wait in till 31st march to see if the review was a success or not if he isn't i want to do this,i was told by education its a case that i would have to reach him myself and a tutor would come for an hour a month to make sure he was being taught and that i was following the curriculum,i was told i would be very lucky if i could get a full time tutor and they cost around £500 minimum for a week,if this is an option for you a private school would be cheaper.x

I tutor adults, and the fee is £18 per hour, but that is for 1 or 2 hours a week. if you want someone to teach substantial hours i think they would give a good discount.
try some of these links to search for a suitable tutor in your area
http://www.tutors-online.co.uk/
http://www.fleet-tutors.co.uk/
http://www.alphatutors.co.uk/
you must also consider if you want an independent tutor, or if you want to go through some sort of tutor agency.

Probably not much. If you think about it, most articles say that a homeschooler can cover a full public school day in less than three hours, if you could get a college kid to come in and tutor her, maybe $15 a day.
You'll need to find materials as well, which could be very inexpensive or as much as you like to spend. We usually find ours for free.

It depends on how well qualified that tutor is. The more qualified they are the more they charge.

Depends on the person on what they charge per hour and it can get costly if you're talking of hiring someone.
